Terms of Use
Last updated: March 20, 2026
1. The Service
Digiboks is a free service provided by Digi-Tal ApS (CVR 41308427) that forwards e-Boks mail to one or more email addresses you specify. The service is aimed at Danish companies and their advisors.
2. Account and Access
You create an account via Google login or email. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must have a valid association with the companies (CVR numbers) you add to Digiboks — i.e., you must have lawful access to manage the company's e-Boks.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use Digiboks only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the service, attempt to circumvent security measures, or use the service in a way that harms other users or Digi-Tal ApS.
4. Pricing
Digiboks is free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, but your access to current core features will remain free.
5. Limitation of Liability
Digiboks is provided "as is". We strive for high uptime and reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Digi-Tal ApS is not liable for losses caused by delays, non-delivery of forwarded messages, or downtime of third-party services (e-Boks, email providers, etc.).
6. Termination
You can delete your account and companies at any time. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that misuse the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall first be attempted resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the dispute shall be settled by the Danish courts with the Copenhagen City Court as the venue.
9. Forwarding and Limitation of Liability
Digiboks sends a copy of your mail from Digital Post and e-Boks to the email addresses you specify. Digital Post and e-Boks remain your official postal channel. You are responsible for regularly reading your mail in Digital Post and e-Boks. Deadlines and legal effects apply from the time the mail is delivered to your official mailbox — not from the forwarding. Forwarding may be delayed or fail (e.g. spam filter, technical errors, or incorrect email address). Digi-Tal Regnskab cannot be held liable for losses resulting from missing, delayed, or incomplete forwarding. You are responsible for ensuring that the recipient addresses you provide are correct and that recipients are permitted to view your mail. Digiboks is a free tool provided "as is", without guarantee of uptime or delivery reliability.
10. Data processing agreement
When Digiboks forwards post on your company's behalf, your company is the data controller and Digi-Tal ApS is the data processor. Our data processing agreement forms an integral part of these terms and governs all such processing. You can find the current agreement here:
11. Setup on behalf of others
If you add a company on behalf of someone else — for example as a bookkeeper or accountant for a client — you warrant that you are entitled to administer that company's post. You may invite the company's owner to complete setup themselves with their own MitID; the owner then creates their own account, accepts these terms and the data processing agreement, and gains access to their own company only. The owner is automatically added as a recipient of the forwarded post, so the company is always aware of the forwarding.
